The short version
Organizly does not collect your app data. Your tasks, projects, notes, settings, and reminders are stored on your device. If you enable iCloud, that content syncs through your own private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit.
There is no Organizly account to create. We do not run a server that receives your content, and we cannot read your tasks or notes. The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you.
Data stored by the app
Organizly stores the information you choose to enter, including:
- Tasks and their completion state, priority, dates, and reminder settings
- Projects, project icons and colors, deadlines, progress, and archive state
- Notes and their project relationships
- App preferences, themes, and widget configuration
This content is processed on your device to provide the app’s features. Reminder notifications are scheduled locally through the system notification service.
Private iCloud sync
When iCloud is available, Organizly uses Apple CloudKit to keep your data in the private database associated with your Apple Account. Apple operates iCloud under its own terms and privacy policy.
The developer does not receive credentials for your Apple Account and does not have access to your private CloudKit records. Sync can be disabled through your device’s iCloud settings, in which case your data remains local to the device.
Purchases and subscriptions
Organizly Pro purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive entitlement status from StoreKit so the app can unlock Pro features. We do not receive or store your payment card number, billing address, or Apple Account password.
Apple may provide developers with aggregated financial and sales reports. Those reports are controlled by Apple and are not linked inside Organizly to the content you create.
This website
The Organizly website does not use advertising pixels, session replay, or cross-site tracking. It uses Plausible, a cookieless analytics service, to understand aggregate visits and actions such as which download button was selected. Plausible does not set cookies or create a persistent profile of you.
Standard infrastructure logs may temporarily contain technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested path, and timestamp. Cloudflare processes these logs to deliver and protect the site. We do not combine them with app data, because the app does not send us app data.
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it only to respond and retain it only as reasonably needed for support and recordkeeping.
Your choices and control
You can edit or delete content in Organizly at any time. You can turn off iCloud access for Organizly in device settings. You can also delete the app and remove its stored iCloud data through Apple’s device and iCloud management controls.
Because no Organizly account exists and we cannot access your private app content, there is no company-held account profile for us to export or delete. For support emails, you can ask us to delete the conversation by contacting us.
Children’s privacy
Organizly is a general-audience organizer and is not directed to children under 13. Because the app collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Organizly’s features or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will be revised, and material changes will be communicated in the app or on this website when appropriate. Previous versions remain available in the project’s version history.
